Context
VendimiaTech took place in Mendoza with Salta as a satellite hub. The challenge was a 48-hour hackathon using blockchain and Web3 technologies.
My role as developer
- Built VitisTrust: an oracle that monitors vineyards via satellite and issues certification.
- Integrated React, Python, Groq, and blockchain layers (Hedera / Rootstock).
- Implemented an end-to-end flow from data ingestion to verifiable demo response.
My role as organizer
- Coordinated Salta's satellite node participation with SaltaDev.
- Helped align teams, schedules, and local logistics for the hackathon.
- Facilitated communication between participants and mentors during the event.
Outcome
I placed second. VitisTrust was deployed as a public demo and connects directly to my Web3/agtech project portfolio.
